ClassiCon Lantern Light Table Lamp
The design of the Lantern Light, which neri&hu introduce with ClassiCon in 2017, refers to a design by Italian designer Vico Magistretti from the year 1977: neri&hu: "Vico Magistretti designed a light in 1977 called Lyndon based on the idea of a structure holding a simple ball of light.
The delicate glass bowl sets a contrast to the minimalist approach to its base pursuing the idea of being read as a cloud.
To commemorate the tenth year of his death, we selected the Lyndon light to pay homage to the designer and created a light in the same spirit." The Lantern Light is available as a floor lamp in two different heights (tall and medium), and as a table lamp.

Neri & Hu
Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu founded neri&hu Design and Research Office in 2004 in Shanghai in order to take on international architecture and design projects. Together they have become one of the most dynamic design forces in China today. The two architects began their studies in Berkeley, California. Lyndon Neri went on to earn his master’s degree at Harvard. For over ten years he was a partner, and project manager for Asia, at Michael Graves&Associates in Princeton and also worked for various New York architecture firms. He is the founder of Design Republic, a concept store in Shanghai that offers outstanding international design products previously unavailable to Chinese consumers. Rossana Hu continued her studies with a master’s degree in architecture and urban planning from Princeton and worked in the architecture studios of Michael Graves&Associates; Ralph Lerner; and Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in New York City and with the Architects Collaborative in San Francisco. Both architects are also active designers and have created products for a number of European companies such as Moooi, Lema, BD Barcelona and Meritalia. They also sell their products under their own neri&hu brand and have received multiple international awards. Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu have taken on lectureships at the universities of Hong Kong, Princeton and Harvard. They are joint editors of a book titled ‘Persistence of Vision’, the first in a series of publications dealing with architecture and urban planning challenges in Chinese mega-cities. For ClassiCon Lyndon Neri and Rosana Hu have designed the series of chairs SEDAN.
