Merete Christensen and Bo Seedorff

Merete Christensen and Bo Seedorff have run a design studio together for over 20 years. They live and work most of the year in central Copenhagen, close to the harbour and the city's pulse, but enjoy spending some time each year in southern Jutland, where they both grew up. Merete studied at Danmarks Designskole, finishing in 1988. With a background as an organ builder, Danmarks Designskole was also the natural choice for Bo, who finished his studies in 1985. After Bo had worked for 11Design for many years, he and Merete founded SEEDORFF DESIGN. "We work with interiors, furniture and product design. Based on an in-depth investigation of the project's time, place and function, we always strive to achieve the best combination of innovation, quality and price. We have a special focus on 'location specific' projects. Interior, furnishings and lighting, designed for a special location and function. This also means we work in close consultation with our customers and partners. We strive to ensure that the design process is very open, with clear milestones and goals. We follow an integrated design approach, working in parallel with 3D visualisation, models and design."
