Maria Berntsen has designed the stylish jar in the popular Design With Light range, and it is no exaggeration to call it multi-functional. It is beautiful for both indoor and outdoor use, but must be stored indoors due to its leather handle. T
he minimalist Scandinavian look with full-grain leather works perfectly for storing pencils and brushes, clips and jewellery as well as for serving snacks and biscuits. The small jar can also be used for a pearl hyacinth or other spring flowers.
The jar is available in three sizes, one as shown measuring 10 cm and two larger versions measuring 12 and 16 cm.

Maria Berntsen graduated from the School of Architecture in Copenhagen and L'Ecole d'Architecture de Bordeaux and finished her education in 1992, since then she has had an independent studio and workshop. Maria Berntsen has designed both furniture and lamps for Holmegaard, applied arts and kitchenware for Erik Bagger Denmark and Rosendahl as well as jewelry for Georg Jensen, etc.
