My Table shares the same rigorous and elegant characteristics of My Chair with its rounded corners and angles and curves of the frame. The design is timeless and has a harmonious and inviting feel. On closer inspection of the chair and table you will gradually notice a number of understated details, bearing witness to the fact that all of its features are carefully thought out. For example, no standard parts have been used, but instead customized solutions have been implemented allowing a completely aesthetic experience no matter from what angle you look at the product. Nicholai Wiig Hansen explains: “My aim was to design a chair with unequalled harmony and to try to come close to the indefinable quality that, in my opinion, lifts a design to another level.

It has been a long and challenging process and although it doesn't look like it when you see the finished result, it is extremely complicated to make a product with such a simple feel. There is no room for a single wrong proportion or angle and one millimeter too much can interfere with the whole overall experience.”
