Annebet Philips

Annebet Philips studied Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where she graduated cum laude in 2007. Since then she has lived and worked in Amsterdam where she designed for various companies in different design fields, including fashion, product and concept design. In 2013 she starts her own design studio. She designs interior products and concepts, both independently as well as for companies. At first glance Annebet’s designs can be described as bold shapes, humoristic and with graphic elements. But upon taking a closer look, one discovers that the playful objects hide thought through concept. Annebet finds inspiration in looking at archetypal shapes and the way people use or are used to existing products. By giving this her own interpretation, she creates products with a twist.
