With its attractive and fluid profile, appearing to almost take off, CROSS is what its name promises, a passage, a crossing. The body rests and thoughts remain active. Also and especially when a thought involves circular ecology. All parts of the structure of this stool, made of metal and polyurethane, rigid on the inside and soft on the outside, are recyclable.

<p>Mario Ferrarini was born in Como, Italy, in 1978. Graduated in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic of Milan he began practicing as a consultant for a number of renowned design studios until founding his eponymous studio in 2007, working alongside international companies on different projects ranging industrial products supporting leading companies such as Antoniolupi, Atlas Concorde, Bitossi, Castelli, Crassevig, Davis furniture, Desalto, de Sede, Ethimo, Franke, Jacuzzi, La Palma, Ligne Roset, Living Divani, Poltrona Frau, Potocco, Viccarbe, Wendelbo and others. The studio works alongside companies to create unusual products that are timeless and transcend passing trends, targeted finding long-lasting solutions for clients with production aimed towards a large consumer market with recognizable solutions and acclaimed distinguishing features.</p>
