Magis CARtools, Set of parallelepipeds for compositions of Vehicles
A simple box of building bricks forms the second variant of ArcheToys, the iconic series of steel model vehicles. Distinctive outlines were sought after, just as they were in the first variant, the cardboard series CARton.
But the classic building bricks concept offers much more room for the imagination. By switching, moving and turning around the basic shapes new, individual configurations are created over and over again. Whether or not they are the assembled with your own tape or elastic bands. In this way the wooden blocks acquire the role of design tool.
The use of colour and the appearance of the light-cones give a cartoonesque image, an association with vintage comics. The box of bricks represent a diversity of values and as such is as attractive to children as it is to adults.
