OTO is a collection of four slightly different models. They all follow the same construction principle, but differ in their proportions. Can you say something about the various characters… What use do you assign to each of them? I guess that one could also imagine using two of the same kind, or three or four different ones?
<p>Studio Œ is a design studio located in Berlin, which was established by Lisa Ertel (born in 1990) and Anne-Sophie Oberkrome (born in 1990). Both Lisa and Anne-Sophie earned their degrees in product design from the University of Arts and Design in Karlsruhe. Their studio's activities encompass a broad range of endeavours, including self-initiated projects, collaborative ventures across various disciplines, and commissioned industrial design projects for global enterprises.</p>
<p>Driven by an enduring fascination with the diverse properties and qualities of materials, as well as the phenomena encountered in everyday life, this creative duo crafts works that narrate unique stories about the spatial and social contexts within which their projects unfold. Furthermore, Anne-Sophie and Lisa are also co-founders of the collective known as FAN. Since 2022, they have been imparting their design expertise as teachers at HFBK Hamburg.</p>
