Named after the Danish word for ‘Wait’, the Vent stool was originally designed for museum-goers. A place to have a seat while allowing the impressions to sink in. Now, Vent has developed into a two-seater with the same minimalist expression, the same strong craftsmanship and the same sculptural feature. The woven seat is made in Denmark in collaboration with ‘Blindes Arbejde’, a sheltered workshop for people who are blind or partially sighted.

With a Swedish mother and Danish father Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm shows her Nordic roots in her designs through a minimalistic approach and strong combinations of materials like wood, leather and wool. Function is her starting point and dictates the idiom of her beautiful designs.
