ARC takes its name from the mathematical concept of a smooth curve joining two points in a circle. The designers behind Arc wanted to create a beautiful table series with space to hide your mess. By simply rotating half of the circular lid, the expression of the table is ever changeable. The surface on the inside storage space is covered with a smooth nanolaminate to complement the ash wood while the three-legged construction adds a playful and light touch to the geometric shaped design. The two talented designers started working together during their studies and found that they share same aesthetic sense, view on materials and expressions in their designs.

The two friends worked on the Arc series during a period of time when they lived together. It started with sketches on paper and ended with a prototype made by hand. 'When we are creating a new design, we aim to create honest, timeless and functional products that allow dynamic interaction between the design and its user' explain the two designers.

The Arc table invites its user to make use of the simple functionalities. Use one finger to turn the upper table top. Let it be open with your favorite objects on display or close the lid to hide your mess.
