Gonzalo Mila

An industrial design graduate of Elisava School of Design in Barcelona, Milà currently develops urban projects, and furniture, lighting and accessories design at his studio. Milà founded the Ines-Milà Studio in 1994 with Juna Carlos Ines, creating Sillarga and Sicurtà, a recliner and urban seating for Escofet, and the Teula bottle for Miscel.lania of Mercé Bohigas. Between 1999 and 2001, he worked at Santa & Cole in product development, and as editor of Urban Division. Between 2003 and 2007, he imparted classes at the Elisava School of Design, and at the School of Architecture of Barcelona, along with Beth Galí. Throughout his career Milà has garnered numerous awards, especially for his urban design.
