The 17th of May is a day of joyful celebrations in the whole of Norway, and with their smiling lines, Kay Bojesen’s Bunad figurines are perfect for putting on the table to mark this national day – or even on other festive occasions with friends and family. The man is based on Kay Bojesen’s famous Guardsman and has been given a newly designed hat. He stands tall and proud in black trousers, a black jacket, a red waistcoat and a white shirt, not to mention the traditional knee-high socks. The male Bunad figurine measures 20.5 cm, is made from FSC-certified beech and has been created using the same high-quality craftsmanship typical of all the wooden figurines from Kay Bojesen.
