Panthella New middle-sized table lamp Panton was known for his love of floating forms, colourful environment, patterns and systems. His designs are innovative with the use of new technologies, materials and production systems available after World War II. Panton was influenced by the functionalism especially through his mentors Poul Henningsen and Arne Jacobsen.
Panton created practical designs that were of use, but still he enjoyed exaggerating and pushing the limits and boundaries of normal people’s lifestyle. Experience as a theme is important in relation to Panton’s work and what stimulated him to design as he did. 320 – New middle-sized table lamp
