Stackable chair with epoxy painted tubular aluminium structure. Polypropylene seat. For indoor and outdoor use.

Tube is a chair with soft shapes that confidently reaffirms its industrial origins, with lines that inspire movement, humanisation of the object and even humour. Beauty and comfort are integral to this pure design which seems to be traced in the air via a continual steel tube and polypropylene seat.
Tube is a chair that deliberately conceals its virtues.

Simple on the outside, smart on the inside: it's hardwearing, suitable for both indoors and out, stackable and easy to maintain. A design by Eugeni Quitllet that's perfect for hospitality and catering projects but has also been created, since its first conception, with a free approach: Tube is a chair that's suitable for colonising both public and private areas.

  • Eugeni Quitllet

Born in Ibiza in 1972, where he studied design at the institute of art. In 1996, after achieving a diploma in interior architecture and design from “La Llotja” art school in Barcelona, he began his career by working on installations for cultural organisations, such as the Joan Mirò Foundation. He also created ephemeral objects and spaces during the “Primavera Del Disseny” design biennial (1997, 1999, 2001). In 2001 he met Philippe Starck in Formentera, and they soon went on to develop a strong partnership. They have designed numerous projects together, including the Home/Gym/Office collection (2009) and the to ‘taime coat stand (2011) for Alias. He currently lives and works in Paris.
