Romano Marcato was born in Cadoneghe (Padova) in 1951.
He got the certificate at the technical-industrial school of mechanics in 1970.
Between 1970 and 1978 he is in charge of the project department in an industry of high precision metal components developing high-speed blanking mould for cable terminals.
Moreover he developed machines and automatisms for the appliance of terminals in the car industry and electronics.
In 1979 together with his brother Dario he established ?lapalma”: he designs some products and follows up all technical details of the productions systems and mechanisms by industrializing and engineering them.
