"Kuppi means 'cup' in Finnish. Kuppi is made from two simple cups held together by a magnet. A lo-tech solution that makes them genuinely easy to adjust, this assembly also allowed me to focus on making the character of the lamp minimal and yet sculptural." - Mika Tolvanen.

About the designer: Mika Tolvanen is a Finnish designer and graduate from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2001. Mika Tolvanen designs mainly furniture, but also different types of interior decorating products as well as lighting.
