Emanuele Ricci

Emanuele Ricci was born near Treviso in 1963. After getting a diploma from the High School of Agriculture in Conegliano Veneto, and a degree from the Milan Polytechnic of Design, he works in the Milan studio of architect Gianfranco Frattini for a significant period. Subsequently, he starts his activity as a designer, idealism and research being at the basis of his thought. Passionate traveler and deep observer, thanks to his botanical studies he menages to decode and transfer several natural phenomena into his projects. In 18 years of activity he has created his own language, where the modulation of light by shapes and mechanical research play an important role. Emanuele Ricci alternate his activity as a designer in the Milan studio, with periods of retirement on the hills around Treviso, where he carries out his artistic research.
