17 May is therefore a day of joy and smiles, celebrated all over Norway, and that makes it obvious to use Kay Bojesen's Bunad figurines with the smiling lines on the table on the national day - or on other festive occasions in the homes of friends and family company. The woman's bunad is inspired by the bunad and traditions of many different regions and represents Norway as a whole. She naturally wears a white shirt under the floor-length dress, which is richly decorated with embroidery, silver details and a belt at the waist. Both the woman's shape and hairstyle are Kay Bojesen's original design from the archives.

The female Bunad figure measures 16 cm, is turned in FSC-certified beech wood and is made in the high craftsmanship quality that characterizes all the wooden figures from Kay Bojesen.
