With its name derived from the urban slang for the splash of a puddle, its flowing curved form appears to have been stuck in mid flight. The British designers behind Silo Studio have brought their experimental approach to industrial manufacturing into pieces that are rich in texture and colour – while deceptively simple and form and function. Their cast glass structure leaves a textured and rippled appearance, further accentuating a sense of movement; a simple crease through the centre is all that is required to distinguish shelf from wall bracket. Available in two sizes and four transparent colours, Blash is a sculptural wall shelf that won’t detract from the items it showcases.

Each piece is created from coloured and cast glass. Bubbles, streaks and other variations in size and colour are part of the production process, and not defects of the design or production.
